The McDonell Fountain is lying in a state of despair and needs urgent restoration and repair work. The fountain was built in 1894 in the memory of William Phrase McDonnel, by his friends. CHC plans to get the lion mouth shaped water spout working and to replace the metal trough in front with a replica.
